Video Transcript for Review of Terran Axle Right Hand Self Adjusting Electric Trailer Brake - TX27ZJ

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Terran Axle Right-Hand Self-Adjusting Electric Trailer Brake. Now, this is going to work with your 6,000 to 7,000-pound trailer axles. This is a 12-inch brake, and as you can see, lining up my ruler here, measuring brake pad to brake pad, that's the 12 inches. And then you can see that this is two inches wide. And so this is going to mount on the passenger's side of your trailer axle.

And you know that this is a right-hand assembly because the primary brake pad is shorter, and this is what's going to be facing the front of your trailer, and the rear one is longer. So, the shorter is on the front. That'll show you at a glance that this is for the right hand, but this also has an R engraved on it as well, so you can know. And this is going to give you consistent braking for trailers with electric drum setups. And this is self-adjusting, so it's going to maintain that optimal shoe clearance without the manual adjustment.

You can tell that this is self-adjusting by this cable here that goes around the pulley, I think you can see right there, and then it connects to the lever right here, and that's going to control that wheel adjuster. So, the self-adjusting brake doesn't require periodic manual adjustment like standard brakes. You see on the back here, this is a five-bolt mounting flange. We do have the left one available as well. If you're in need of that, you can find that here at etrailer.com.

But if you happen to have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to reach out. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. That's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it's helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
